内容記述 | This article, by the lead counsel for the Philippines in the arbitration it brought against China under the United Nations Convention for the Law of the Sea, which resulted, in July 2016, in a unanimous award in favor of the Philippines on all key issues, sets forth the author’s views on the critical findings by the arbitral tribunal, the impact of the award on the parties to the dispute and on the rule of law generally, and how the award can lead to a peaceful and equitable solution for China and its neighbors rimming the South China Sea, as well as a strengthening of the rules-based international order. | |||||
